Wavedata has seen significant growth in the number of Generic offers received from about 10,000 to 30,000 over the last ten years. This is mainly due to the Generic market growth during this period and healthcare professionals being encouraged to prescribe generically.
The offers reached a peak in May 2020 and then declined in June and July, possibly because of the Covid-19 lockdown, lower GP attendance, and reduced workforce in wholesalers and manufacturers.
