Over the last 10 years, the price of Co-Fluampicil has dropped from £10.86 in September 2010 to £3.75 in late 2019. This included a long period of stability between September 2012 and 2019.
Since February 2020 the drug tariff has been keeping track with variations in the average market price. But since Feb 2020 the average market price has risen to over £5, exceeding the English drug tariff until Sept 2020 when the drug tariff was increased to ensure pharmacists still have a chance to make a profit.
