In the absence of any acceptable UK EU deal on the supply of medical products to Northern Ireland, the number of price list offers for both generics and parallel imports, as measured by Wavedata, are continuing to decline rapidly. In September 2021 wholesalers and manufacturers made just 213 offers for parallel imports to Northern Irish pharmacies, and 3474 offers for generics. This is just 11% (PIs) and 53% (generics) of the numbers of offers made in Jan 2021.
