We have been collecting information for the WaveData price database of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products since September 2000.

The prices we collate are those offered regularly to retail pharmacists and dispensing GP practices by manufacturers and wholesalers all over the UK.

Our panel of data suppliers are able to provide us with a thorough selection of distributors’ comprehensive monthly price lists, and also with the wide variety of special offers that are made available to them on a frequent basis via fax, email or telesales canvassing.

WaveData’s dedicated Data Management team is responsible for the continuing supply of up-to-date price data and for its rapid & accurate input to the database. A highly-experienced Pharmaceutical Information Administration section provides further quality control to our data by establishing the veracity, in an ever-changing marketplace, of new product information.

We are presently adding on average 100,000 new prices every month to the database, which currently lists in excess of 50,000 individual product lines. WaveData’s users can be confident that price data for new products can be reliably compared with that of more established products of a similar category/indication.
